There are several homemade dog food recipes that can provide a good nutrition for your dogs.  Dog owners would not want to compromise on their dogs’ health. That is why people would prefer to make dog food and keep on searching for a homemade dog food recipes. And this is for the reason to be certain on the organic food that is served on their dogs.

Some dog owners would want to be so sure on the quality of the food for their dogs. They would like to let their dogs to be healthy as they were living in one home.  That is why those people would also like to let their dog eat the same as human does and this brought them to letting their dog eat rice as the best grains for dog to have in a meal.

Not all grains are best for dogs to eat. Dog owners should be watchful if what type of grains will fit to their dogs because there are some dogs is allergic of grains.

There are best grains for dogs but these grains should always be cooked because if not it can make dog digestive track move slower because dogs can hardly flush it to their stomach.. For example cereals, cornmeal, oatmeal, millet and bulgur which has high nutritional value and a great source for protein, vitamins and minerals. But it can be reliable sources of protein, fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins, and essential minerals and but it can be a snack for dogs.

Another that can provide a good nutrition for dogs can be found in raw vegetables:

Chopped parsley, Alfalfa sprouts, Finely grated zucchini and other soft squash with peel, Finely grated beets, Finely grated carrots with peel, Lettuce and mixed greens, Bell peppers, Fresh corn, Carrots (can be cooked as well – also gives them something good to chew on like grains and other homemade dog food recipes.

Dogs can become healthy if dog owner will personally prepare and not relying on processed and commercial foods.

Serving homemade dog food recipes for your dogs is far different and much better than the common commercial dog food. When preparing a dog food, raw and cooked grains are best source of vitamins and minerals. You can store the food into the freezer without making it less on its quality in a couple of days to be eaten. But remember when you are going to let your dogs eat raw food you should only freeze the food for about 24 hours and pour a little hot water and it will make your dog healthier than you have ever wanted!
